Gross Schechter Day School’s early childhood education encourages creativity, exploration and self-discovery in a nurturing and caring environment filled with the joy of Jewish learning and living. Our curriculum is designed to foster growth in all areas of your child’s development. Gross Schechter currently offers programs for children 18 months through pre-kindergarten daily with half- and full-day options, as well as extended care before and after school.

Young children’s work is play! We provide a warm, vibrant environment for our students to explore and learn. Teachers guide students through hands-on activities to learn new topics and skills.
We incorporate Jewish practices and Hebrew language in our daily classroom activities to help foster your child’s Jewish identity. Children further their love of Jewish traditions through weekly Shabbat programs, holiday festivities, and by learning about Torah and Israel. They are nurtured and guided to become confident individuals and leaders who are inspired by Jewish values.
We also are proud to partner with Segula to offer support for students with learning needs who can flourish in an integrated program with their typical peers.
