Gross Schechter Infant Care

Gross Schechter Infant Care welcomes the school’s youngest students from ages 6 weeks to 18 months. The full-time program provides a low child-to-teacher ratio in a warm, welcoming environment. Gross Schechter promotes healthy child development and flexes to each child’s needs. The wonderful staff support growth towards independence and partner with parents to meet the hopes they have for their children’s care and well-being.

Barbie Barnholtz, Director of Infant Care

Through sensory exploration, songs, puppets and stories, infants at Gross Schechter develop an early love of their Jewish lives. They participate in school-wide holiday celebrations and weekly Kabbalat Shabbat experiences. Gross Schechter Infant Care is housed at B’nai Jeshurun Congregation, next door to Gross Schechter.
