The Joseph and Florence Mandel Jewish Day School’s Early Childhood Program is committed to a meaningful first school opportunity that encourages emotional and social growth for children ages 18 months through 5 years old.
The Early Childhood Division:
- Develops listening and verbal skills
- Encourages reading and a love of literature through regular visits to our extensive library
- Builds a strong math foundation with puzzles, patterns and learning tools
- Teaches Hebrew through Hebrew Immersion instruction
- Focuses on Jewish traditions daily through songs and activities
- Develops creativity through art, music, and creative movement
- Promotes health by engaging in large motor activities and physical education classes
- Emphasizes Outdoor Education and exploration in our new Outdoor Classrooms
