Jewish Sacred Society of Cleveland Chevra Kadisha
Our mission is to ensure that every Jewish soul, no matter their affiliation, is provided an opportunity for a traditional Jewish burial, according to customs that date back to antiquity. We aim to provide understandable, easily accessible information relating to Jewish Burial and its related customs, to the families of the deceased.
Heshy Neiman
Members of the Chevra Kadisha (Burial Society) are selected for their character, integrity and personal devotion to Jewish Tradition.
These men and women are on call 24 hours a day to perform a Tahara, and to ensure that the laws and traditions of Jewish burial are executed honorably and discreetly. Their greatest concern is for the sensitive care, modesty and dignity of the deceased.
There is no better way to ensure the dignity of the body and soul, than to entrust its preparation to the Chevra Kadisha.
