Shul Boys
Provide a fun, safe motorcycle riding environment for Jewish men and women to support each other and the Cleveland Jewish community.
Sue
Shul Boys is a Jewish motorcycle club in greater Cleveland comprised of men and women who ride all brands of motorcycles at competencies from novice to expert. It is an official affiliate club under the umbrella of the Jewish Motorcyclists Alliance (JMA) which exists to promote Holocaust education and awareness as well as advance tolerance and oppose bigotry.
- Founded in 2011 by Ian Abrams, Shul Boys has been a JMA member since inception. As a 500,000 mile rider, he brought his enthusiasm of motorcycling and Jewish heritage to his home town of Cleveland and grew the club to its current membership of 80+.
- Shul Boys members are proud of our Jewish heritage, practice religious beliefs at different levels, ride motorcycles and support Jewish causes. The Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage in Beachwood is the primary beneficiary of Shul Boys donations.
- The JMA sponsors an annual Ride to Remember (R2R), a gathering of American and Canadian Jewish motorcyclists for a weekend of camaraderie, riding and Holocaust remembrance fundraising. We join with other clubs in a different host city (Cleveland in 2018) to commemorate the Holocaust and raise money for a local charity.
