Cleveland Hillel’s goal is to build a strong Jewish student community on campus and beyond to assure a strong Jewish future for undergraduate, graduate, and professional students. Hillel creates opportunities for young adults to build relationships and have meaningful Jewish experiences by celebrating Judaism through programs on multiple campuses in Cleveland and Oberlin centered around:
- Shabbat and holidays;
- Israel advocacy, culture, and education;
- Birthright Israel, social justice, and leadership trips;
- Community service, volunteerism, and Tikkun Olam;
- Social, arts, and cultural events;
- Civic engagement, mentorships, and networking;
- Jewish identity and education;
- Hosting nationally known speakers;
- Multicultural and multi-faith relations;
- Leadership development
