The Jewish Education Center of Cleveland and @akiva are proud to offer J2Gether - an opportunity for Jewish Clevelanders to learn, mentor, and grow together.
J2Gether has a track for everyone!
J2Gether: Learning - Pick your topic, and learn at your own pace with a mentor. You'll have the opportunity to receive a certificate of completion at the end of each course. All courses are 3 - 4 sessions long, and are a chance for you to delve into Jewish content, leadership, and connection building.
J2Gether Learning is geared towards 3th - 12th graders.
J2Gether: Homework Helpers - With social distancing and hybrid and virtual school, we know that sometimes it's great to have a buddy ready to help with your homework. Through this version of J2Gether, our youngest students will be paired with high school + college aged mentors to assist with homework, check in, and learn together.
J2Gether Homework Helpers is geared towards 3rd - 8th graders.
…and J2gether is also about teen leadership! - Take your learning to the next level by participating in a training workshop focusing on facilitation and program leadership, and put it into practice by becoming a mentor yourself. Leadership participants will have the chance to work with students in grades 3 - 7, putting into practice all of the skills and knowledge of J2Gether. At the completion of the training + one round of facilitation, you will receive a stipend.
J2Gether Leadership is geared towards 10th - 12th graders and college students.
