The Jewish Relief Society's purpose is to fulfill the custom of Maot Chittin, remarks Milane Aboody, president. "It means that every Purim, Jews are obligated to set aside a donation to ensure that each Jew in the community has the basic foodstuffs to fulfill the obligation of Passover."
Therefore The Jewish Relief Society supplies:
