The Charlotte Goldberg Community Mikvah (CGCM), dedicated in 2000, is an inclusive, kosher, luxurious mikvah open to individuals from all streams of Judaism. Come and participate in our beautiful mikvah and follow in the footsteps of generations of Jewish women and men.
Charlotte Goldberg was inspired to build a mikvah in Cleveland
to allow brides to enter into marriage with the welcoming tradition
of mikvah. The CGCM also enables converts to embrace Judaism in a
dignified, welcoming manner.
Here are some popular, evolving uses for today's
Mikvah:
- Immersion by brides, grooms and partners prior to the wedding ceremony
- Men, women and children's conversions to Judaism
- Honoring personal milestones such as graduations, birthdays, anniversaries and B'nai Mitzvah
- Beginning anew by marking the end of shivah, divorce, rape, abuse or recovery after illness
- Tahart Hamishpachah, the mitzvah of women's traditional monthly immersion
- Marking transformations in women's bodies such as onset of menstruation, miscarriage, infertility, pregnancy, the birth of a child and menopause
- Educational programs in the Community Room to learn about mikvah as part of the Jewish tradition
Our community mikvah for all Jews, is supported by a consortium of 18 area wide Temples and synagogues and is administered by Park Synagogue.

- Luxurious living room and kitchen for any special event - kosher catering available
- The CGCM is a kosher mikvah, and meets all Halachic standards and the structure, water levels, content and collection are inspected on a regular basis.
